Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This policy explains how Dustolex Limited (“Dustolex”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us through it. We are the data controller for that information.
Who we are
Dustolex Limited, Ebor Street, Littleborough, OL15 9AS, United Kingdom. Email [email protected], telephone +44 (0)1706 377344.
What we collect
- Enquiries: when you use our enquiry form we collect your name, company, postcode, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry. If you email or phone us, we collect the information you choose to give us.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and security services process your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so the site can be delivered securely and protected from abuse.
- Website usage (only if you agree): if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, where you click and scroll, the device and browser you use and your approximate location. Clarity hides text typed into forms. Neither tells us who you are.
We do not use advertising tracking on this website, and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a quotation or proposal.
- To provide products and services you order from us and to keep records of our dealings with you.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- If you consent, to understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
Our lawful basis
We use your information where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, where it is needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract with you, and where we must comply with a legal obligation. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run this website and our email, such as our website hosting and IT provider, under contracts that require them to keep it secure and use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google (Google Ireland Limited) and Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, through Microsoft Clarity) process website usage information for us as our analytics providers. The website also uses Google Fonts to display text and Vimeo to play a background video. These services receive your IP address when your browser loads them. The Vimeo player is loaded with its do-not-track setting enabled.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We then delete it securely.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it to another organisation. To make a request, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
